Synopsis by Jack Rodgers
This biopic of Lyndon B. Johnson (Woody Harrelson) chronicles his time as the Senate majority leader, his ascension to the presidency following the assassination of JFK, and his efforts to pass the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964 over the objection of Southern Democrats. The film co-stars Jennifer Jason Leigh as Lady Bird, Bill Pullman as Senator Ralph Yarborough, Richard Jenkins as Senator Richard Russell, and Michael Stahl-David as Robert F. Kennedy.
