Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This romance of the lawless West features minor silent star Jewel Carmen. A theatrical troupe finds itself stranded out West, and the leading lady, LaBelle Geraldine (Carmen) searches for a way to get back home. She enlists the help of her dancing partner, Freddie Montgomery (Edward Hearn), by asking him to impersonate notorious bandit Black Jim -- there is a price on Jim's head and Geraldine wants the reward money for his capture. To Geraldine's surprise, the real bandit (Henry Woodward) shows up and after shooting her in the hand, he takes her to his cabin hideaway. His whole gang comes onto her and Freddie proves himself to be a coward. Black Jim, on the other hand, becomes her protector. During a fight within his gang, the cabin catches fire and Jim and Geraldine escape through the flames to safety. Jim reforms because of his love for Geraldine and he makes the decision to lead an honest life.
