Synopsis by Hal Erickson

In one of the series' best "fantasy" episodes, Lenny (Michael McKean) and Squiggy (David L. Lander) imagine themselves starring in a brace of vintage, black-and-white silent movies. One of the "films" has a WW1 setting, while another takes place during the Age of Chivalry. In any event, Lenny and Squiggy invariably cast themselves as the heroes, with Laverne (Penny Marshall) and Shirley (Cindy Williams) as the hapless damsels in distress. In keeping with the episode's theme, the fantasy sequences are filmed minus dialogue or laughtrack, accompanied only by music and sound effects.
