Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A veterinarian makes a shocking discovery upon settling in a small Missouri town in this ecological thriller that will have you thinking twice before biting into that next hamburger. It seems like everyone in the tightly knit ranching community of Host is employed by Host Tender Meats. When new doctor Eli Rudkus (Vincent Ventresca) arrives in town, he soon stumbles upon a horrific cattle infestation that threatens to become a deadly human epidemic. It seems that mutating insect larva are developing a taste for human flesh and reproducing at an alarming rate. What was at first a threat solely to local livestock soon turns into a desperate war for humanity.
