Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

The classic clashes between a domineering father and his teen offspring are given a slight twist in this routine coming-of-age drama by Bulgarian director Nikolai Korabov. The rebellious child is his daughter (Margarita Ilieva), a senior in high school. Her brothers at first sit idly by and watch these new and surprising developments between their sister and father. The young woman's transition from child to maturing teen is handled well, and as she goes head-to-head with her father, her brothers eventually commiserate and put on their own demonstration of solidarity in support of her stance. Several subplots detract somewhat from the main thrust of the tale, a drama which marks Korabov's screen debut.
