Six young people are tracked through their first radicalization at the end of the 1970s to their full-fledged conversion to active terrorism in this story that chooses to focus on Sara (Cristina Donadio), the young girlfriend of Matteo (Stefano Raffi). Matteo does not really fit in with the other five, but gets carried along with the tide as his friends make their plans. Sara is involved not only because of Matteo, but because she saw the police kill a woman during a demonstration. As soon as she meets Luca (Fabrizio Bentivoglio) the gang leader, she falls for his good-looks and charismatic personality, and the pacifist Matteo is left on his own. The gang is led into acts of violence by Luca, and eventually they plan a bank robbery based on a tip from one of their contacts -- a risky proposition from the start. Their future, in fact, will depend on whether or not they succeed.
