The revolution in Mexico which brought the P.R.I. to power took place well before World War I and is the subject of countless Mexican movies. In this story, a sequel to the 1986 hit La Coyota, Rosalba has lost her land and her lover to the oppressive authorities and she joins the poor people in their revolution, attempting to fight the Federales while suffering many hardships. In this sequel, (Rebeca Silva) has replaced Beatriz Adriana in the lead. When the campesinos in this movie are not fighting, they are singing corridos around their campfires.
