Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
While the Yugoslavia depicted in this film no longer exists, the communities depicted in it do. The story provides a rare glimpse into life in that former Balkan country's Muslim communities. In the story, Becir Kuduz (Slobodan Custic) has spent years in prison for roughing up a policeman. After he gets out of prison, he wants to start a new life. He begins by marrying an unmarried woman with a child by an unknown father. Then, he attempts to make his way in life as a builder. He is very fond of his new wife, but is disturbed by her continued flirtatiousness with other men.
