In this entertaining children's film, a bantering pilot and co-pilot become the temporary "parents" of a little chick when the feathered bit of fluff comes along for a round-trip Frankfurt-Nairobi jaunt. After the co-pilot discovers the source of the peeping sounds under the plane (the chick escaped from a crate-load of newly-hatched siblings bound for Cairo), he brings the small bird into the cockpit because the plane is ready to take off. The gruff pilot is none too pleased, but he gets what he deserves. He ends up baby-sitting the chick and an unfortunately sick co-pilot in a hotel room. Then of course, the unthinkable happens -- the chick disappears.
