Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Hawthorn Yancey (Harrison Page), a surly African American youth with a police record and a lifelong distrust of cops, is accused of a fatal shooting. Kojak (Telly Savalas) suspects that Yancey has been framed, and sets out to prove his theory. Only one problem: Yancey so despises authority figures that he refuses to cooperate with Kojak, even though his hostility may cost him his life. Future Magnum P.I. costar Roger Mosley shows up in a key supporting role.
