Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Every major country in Europe has its corps of "guest workers," the Foreigners of this film. They are people who are willing to do the low-paid, unpleasant work most local people are unwilling to do. This Swedish film follows the career path of Stellios (Konstantinos Papagororgious) as his working life slowly improves. It also highlights the difficulties the culturally homogenous Swedes have in dealing with a large influx of very different people.
