Synopsis by Mark Deming
On October 29, 1999, theatrical rock legends Kiss -- in the midst of a sold-out tour supporting their comeback album Psycho Circus -- videotaped a live concert in Las Vegas, NV, with a full multiple camera setup for a later Internet webcast. The webcast, however, fell victim to a massive server crash, and the show was never seen by the group's fans. Kiss: Live in Las Vegas finally makes this concert footage available, with the group (in full makeup) performing a set of their biggest hits for a wildly enthusiastic crowd. As a bonus, Kiss: Live in Las Vegas also features interviews with the members of the group, and exclusive footage of Kiss at the premier of their movie Detroit Rock City.
