Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Director James Marsh’s British crime dramedy is based on the infamous 2015 burglary of a safe deposit facility in Hatton Garden, London. Michael Caine plays a retired thief and widower who masterminds the burglary with the help of fellow septuagenarians. While they successfully make off with over £200 million in money and jewels, greed and distrust soon jeopardize the endeavor.
