Produced by Thames Television, the British TV weekly Killers was an anthology of 60-minute dramas based on files and transcripts of real-life murder cases. The series commenced on June 30, 1976 with Part One of the two-part "The Stine Morrison Case." Subsequent episodes included "The Crumbles Murder," "Murder at the Metropole," "The Blazing Car Murder," and "The Chalk Pit Murder." This last installment was seen on August 25, 1976, at which point Killers left the airwaves.
