Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Years after leaving his country illegally to raise a family in Sweden, an Iranian expatriate weighs his future against his past while wrestling with his growing desire to pay a visit to his family and friends back home. It's been years since Sia left Iran, and despite the fact that he has a loving family in Sweden, he can't help but getting homesick every now and again. Deciding that is best option is to visit a free port that does not require a visa, Sia realizes upon arriving that the only way to satisfy his growing sense of nostalgia is to return to his childhood home on the mainland. As he ponders the punishment that could await him should he be discovered, Sia prepares to make the decision that could render his children fatherless, and leave his entire family devastated.
