A downbeat drama dealing with love in the face of AIDS, this Ethiopian film studies the effect that a diagnosis of HIV can have on a fledgling relationship. Though a young university student in Selam has found what she believes to be true love with a fellow student, the discovery that her former lover has tested positive for HIV prompts her to immediately end her current relationship and attempt suicide.
