The 1993 Christmas special "Sea Fever" follows social climber Hyacinth Bucket (Patricia Routledge) and husband Richard's (Clive Swift) voyage aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2, which they nearly miss when they take a wrong turn on the drive there. Hyacinth is stunned to spot her sister, Daisy (Judy Cornwell), and her "bone idle" husband, Onslow (Geoffrey Hughes), onboard, unaware Onslow won the trip in a newspaper contest. Thinking they have stowed away, she believes she and Richard must search the ship to catch them and hide them from authorities.
