Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Karl Frederik Regerer (Karl Frederik Reigns) casts a humorous light on Sweden's transition to socialism. Because of his pro-union activities, Karl-Frederik Peterson (Sigurd Wallen) and his family are evicted from their farm. This has a particularly profound effect on Peterson's daughter Lena (Guli-Maj Norin), who is in love with Olof (Bjorn Berglund), the son of landlord Major Carl Lindberg (Hugo Bjorne) But when the cooperative-farming system is installed in Sweden, Peterson gains a distinct political advantage over the disgruntled Lindberg. All is forgiven and forgotten when Lena and Olof are wed.
