Martial arts master Lisa Gaylord blends karate, yoga, Tai Chi, and aerobics to create a totally original workout program. Gaylord holds four black belts and is a weapons expert. In Karate Aerobics, Gaylord offers a 30-minute workout enhanced with oriental-flavored staging and lighting. The warm-up routine consists of slower Tai Chi moves without cueing, followed by the aerobics segment featuring a minimum of cueing, and finally, a yoga-based cool-down segment. This unique exercise program builds on Gaylord's earlier video, Perfect Balance Workout, with fitness experts Donna Richardson, Gloria Quinlan, and Stephanie Herman.
