Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Sho Hayami (Tomiyuki Kunihiro) travels to Switzerland in hopes of developing his skills as a photographer. He rents a room from a quaint, middle-aged man in exchange for Sho's agreement to perform some yet-unnamed chores. Sho photographs everything that is stereotypically associated with the country, like chocolate and cuckoo clocks. His pictures earn money but not enough to start a coveted Swiss bank account. Sho's love for Switzerland is only eclipsed by his love for the Swiss miss Liliane (Carol Lizon). He is kicked out of the country and finds work in a German factory, as Liliane cries for her lost love. The couple is helped by an obnoxious Japanese priest who does not understand the concept of a vow of silence.
