Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
A rare Egyptian attempt at the sci-fi genre, this tale by Kamal ElCheikh tries to make an association between the cryogenic preservation of bodies and ancient Egyptian mummification. Dead bodies are coming up missing in the local hospital, so Kamal (Nour El Sherif) and his cousin (Khalid Zaki) start looking into the mystery. After his cousin also disappears, Kamal's investigations take him to a remote villa where an eccentric scientist entraps him and reveals his experiments. He is deep-freezing bodies so that they can be resuscitated at some time in the future when medicine has the cures for their terminal illnesses. The trouble is, Kamal finds that his healthy cousin is as frozen as a popsicle and he has to somehow get them both out of the villa, fast.
