Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In a modern-day retelling of an ancient Tangiers story, wealthy bachelor Khalil likes to hang around in the countryside managing his family's country estate, rather than doing things in the city. In his sleep, he dreams about meeting a beautiful woman with the name Rachida, and the very next day that's exactly what happens. She is narcissistic to an extreme but consents to marry him. Khalil's family is not overjoyed at the match, because she is from a less-exalted social class, but they accept it. Trouble begins for the couple when Rachida, who spends her days in front of her mirror, begins to receive instructions from it.
