Synopsis by Hal Erickson
For those British youngsters who thought that the long-running cooking show Masterchef was a bit past their level of sophistication, the same production team put together a 15-minute "Junior" version. Like its parent program, Junior Masterchef was a culinary competition effort, featuring kitchen-savvy kiddies who hoped to win a grand prize with the best gastronomic concoction. Lloyd Grossman, popular host of the "grownup" version, performed the same function herein. Junior Masterchef made its first British TV appearance in 1995.
