Synopsis by Connor McMadden
Julie is a fashion design student who is in for a lot of trouble. A make-or-break fashion show is coming up and she can't afford to buy the materials she needs to launch her career. Then one day while crossing the street, a woman is hit and killed by a car. Before expiring, the victim, Natascha, hands Julie a bag and tells her to return what's inside to its original owner. The item just happens to be a 14th Century religious icon which Natascha has just stolen in order to buy a plane ticket to New York. Julie, hoping collect her much needed cash, intends to sell the painting herself. But the arrival of Natascha's ghost places her on a duel quest for redemption. A ghost story commendably told without horror or special effects, Julie's Geist is more about friendship than it is about the willies.
