Synopsis by Perry Seibert
This documentary analyzes the music and legacy of Joy Division, one of the most influential post-punk British bands whose output was tragically brief because of the death of their lead singer Ian Curtis. The filmmakers delve into the early formation of the band, before they adopted the name Joy Division, and into the careers of the other members of the band who regrouped to form New Order.
