Footage comes from across the subcontinent and reflects an intimate knowledge of this corner of the world. Part three, Simla, explores this resort city and retreat located in northwestern India. The capital of the Pradesh state, the town is known for its pleasant, cool climate. Simla served as India's summer capital between 1865 and 1939. It remains a popular haven for middle-class Indians.
