Joey has made a fool of himself on many a drunken night. On this night, however, he makes a mistake that he will live to regret. In his wild stupor, he robs a convenience store, the penalty for which, in his little Texas town, is prison. Now on his last night of freedom, Joey makes amends with his dysfunctional family and roves the streets of his community looking for liquor, women and excitement one last time before he retires to the cell he'll be confined to for a long time to come.
