Synopsis by Maggie Sadler
Jessie Morris (Kat Fairaway), a young Scottish woman of the peasant class, receives the opportunity of a lifetime to work at the local estate, the lavish Stratton Castle, as a servant for Lord Alfred Sinclair (Eric Roberts). Yet Jessie's delicate charm and vulnerability soon catch the eye of Alfred's son, Walter (Andrew Shelton). In defiance of their community's stringent class differences and traditions, Jessie and Walter embark on a passionate love affair that soon jeopardizes Jessie's tenuous life at the castle.
