Alcoholic cop Jesse (Stephanie Finochio) descends into the treacherous mafia underworld in search of her missing brother, but finds her dangerous mission complicated by a sympathetic bartender (Eric Roberts), an Internal Affairs investigator (Armand Assante), and a foreboding crime boss (William Forsythe). Later, a vicious attack on the troubled cop's mother prompts Jesse to load up a sawed-off shotgun, and take aim at the thugs responsible.
