Synopsis by Michael Hastings
'70s cabaret chanteuse Jane Olivor has been impressing audiences for years with her mellow vocal stylings and impressive resume of pop ballads and standards. Her triumphant stage appearance at Boston's Berklee Performance Center in the Fall of 2003 is captured in Safe Return, a concert film that includes over two dozen songs as well as intimate interviews with the woman herself. Among the mellow ballads and modern pop standards belted out by Olivor are "Annie's Song," "You," and "Let's Make Some Memories," the latter being a slightly adapted version of one of her signature songs.
