Synopsis by Hal Erickson
A 1987 summer replacement for the popular British children's series Saturday Superstore, It's Wicked was the BBC's answer to ITV's Get Fresh, right down to the slangy title. Each episode was taped in a different region of the United Kingdom, where host Jake Abrahams exhorted the local kids to participate in the series' thrilling blend of songs, comedy, games, and stunts. And of course it was all quite educational, though the children never felt as if they'd been to summer school. It's Wicked disappeared when autumn rolled around, never to return.
