Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Most Canadian TV travelogues were aimed at adults, or the "armchair traveller" set. Isles of Mystery broke tradition by aiming its filmed 15-segments towards younger viewers. Apparently there weren't enough of those around, inasmuch as only two episodes were telecast. Isles of Mystery debuted on Thursday, January 23, 1958, and was cancelled the following Thursday afternoon.
