Not to be confused with the American religious anthology of the same name, Insight was created for the Schools Program of Britain's ITV service in or around 1977. Geared for hearing-impaired children, the series endeavored to educate and entertain its target audience with pantomimes and overarticulated dialogue, all to illustrate the fun and purpose of everyday activities. Derek Griffiths, a familiar figure on adult-oriented British series, was the ingratiating host.
