Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Director Jamie Meltzer profiles radical activist-turned-FBI informant Brandon Darby in this probing documentary that attempts to examine Darby's complex and controversial story from all possible angles. Initially gaining notoriety as the founder of Common Ground, a grassroots organization devoted to helping victims of Hurricane Katrina, Darby would later play a crucial role in the arrest of two young protestors during the 2008 Republican National Convention in Minnesota. In addition to allowing Darby the rare opportunity to tell his own story in his own words, Meltzer's film also affords acquaintances and informed commentators the opportunity to weigh in on his subject's unlikely transformation from hero of the disenfranchised to champion of the right wing.
