Synopsis by Cecilia Cygnar
Part of the In Search Of video series, this documentary explores the history and the controversy behind finding the site of Emmaus, a village near Jerusalem where Jesus is said, according to Biblical stories, to have spoken to two of His disciples on the day of His Resurrection. Since that time, the proper whereabouts of this city have been in question. There are several villages around Jerusalem that claim to be the spiritual, significant city. This video offers four possible sites of Emmaus and there are reenactments of what might have happened there.
