Synopsis by Cecilia Cygnar

Part of the In Search Of series, this documentary examines the validity behind the curse of the tomb of King Tutankhamen, who ruled Egypt from 1333 to 1323 B.C. Narrated by series host Leonard Nimoy, this video takes a close look at the history and mysteries of this tomb of Tutankhamen, or King Tut for short, which was discovered in 1922. When the tomb and sarcophagus were opened and examined in the 1920s, sudden and mysterious deaths began occurring. Scientists eventually tied these deaths to a curse of the tomb of King Tut. Some bacteria was found on the tomb and its surroundings, indicating that the embalmers of the King might have built in a hidden disease for those who disturbed the King's eternal rest.
