This documentary looks at how video has changed the scope of visual and performing arts. The program presents examples of different types of electronics that fuse together the sounds and the images of video production. Video can be manipulated and sound can be synthesized to create something entirely different than originally created or intended. Other modern video advancements and upgrades are shown, including the wide-angle lens. The program also presents some of the history of video as an art form.
