Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Director Baldemar Rodriguez reveals the extremes that one man will go to in order to keep his family together after their undocumented parents are arrested, 30 years after coming to America. His parents arrested by ICE and facing deportation, the adult son of a close-knit Mexican family (Rodriguez) is devastated when CPS separates him from his four younger siblings. Determined to reunite his family at all costs, he manages to free his brothers and sisters before setting off across Texas on a desperate race for freedom. But when a policeman pulls them over, an already tense situation takes a sudden turn for the worse, threatening the lives and the future of a family torn apart by forces beyond their control.
