Synopsis by Augustine Chay

Jessie Buckley, Jesse Plemons, Toni Collette, and David Thewlis star in director Charlie Kaufman’s adaptation of Ian Reid’s 2016 novel of the same name. A young woman with ambivalent feelings towards her new boyfriend agrees to accompany him on a road trip that takes them to his family farm. When a snowstorm traps her there with him and his parents, she experiences an unsettling existential crisis that forces her to rethink their relationship - and her own identity.
