Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Prince Maiyo (Sessue Hayakawa) travels from Japan to London, where he makes a splash with the aristocrats. But the prince is on serious business -- he is hunting down a man who was responsible for his father's death and his family's disgrace. The man he's after, Count de la Mar (Bertram Grassby), is now making a play for the Duchess of Devenham (Beverly Traverse), the wife of the Prince's closest friend (Harry Lonsdale). But one morning the Count is found dead, and Scotland Yard steps in. Both the Duke and the Prince are suspects, but the killer turns out to be the Prince's servant. There was a romance in this film (which was based on an E. Phillips Oppenheim story) between Prince Maiyo and American girl Penelope Morse (Mabel Ballin), but as generally happened in Sessue Hayakawa films, racial prejudices of the day prohibited the usual end clinch.
