Hakan and his father Cengiz have what appears to be a really fine relationship. Some years back, the boy's mother died in the accident which blinded his father, and since then the son has spent most of his time working with his executive father as a combination seeing-eye-dog and aide-de-camp in a generally agreeable manner. His father still appears to be very much the boss of the show, but their relationship begins to go sour when a good-looking woman with an anarchic bent enters their lives romantically. In this prize-winning Turkish film, as the drama turns tragic, a great deal of family history is aired.
