Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

In the late 1970s, a handful of British New Wave singers toured Europe by bus, and this documentary is a record of that tour, their songs, and their shenanigans between venues. The singers and their songs are Elvis Costello ("Watching the Detectives"), Ian Dury ("Wake Up and Make Love with Me"), Wreckless Eric ("Semaphore Signals"), Nick Lowe ("I Knew the Bride"), and Larry Wallis ("Police Car"). Of the group, Elvis Costello seems to have done the best since the tour and this documentary were completed.
