Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Assembled by the same team responsible for the ABC documentary series Hopkins 24/7, this four-part miniseries went behind the walls of one of America's most honored pediatric hospitals. Located in Little Rock, AR, Children's was dedicated to providing the best possible care for children with the most extreme of ailments -- especially in the intensive-care unit. The opening episode set the pace for the rest of the series, as Dr. Jonathan Drummond-Webb, chief of cardiac surgery, supervised a brace of heart transplants (among other cases). Narrated by Elizabeth Vargas, ICI: Arkansas Children's Hospital premiered August 7, 2002.
