Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Kids on the street, and usually on the wrong side of the law, are the focus of this sometimes unconvincing and consistently depressing tale of life and death in the slums of Rome. These kids steal in order to support their drug habits. Inevitably, a series of tragedies strikes after a member of the gang, Cesare, is killed in an attempted robbery, and Pino his accomplice is arrested. With her brother Pino arrested and her boyfriend Cesare dead, Rosa (Marta Bifano), another member of the gang, heads toward an even greater tragedy. Pino's sister Angela, undaunted by what has happened thus far, decides to hit the pavement herself and takes up life as a juvenile hooker.
