Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
In this youth-oriented drama about a middle-aged man who joins a gang of bikers in Athens to find out who killed his brother, there is enough bike action and street slang to lend authenticity to an otherwise weak story. Nicos (Christos Kalavrouzos) is a seaman whose job kept him away from home for 20 years, and now he is back to discover the details surrounding his younger brother's death. He knows that his brother lost out in the suicidal game of "contra," in which competing bikers ride into oncoming traffic and whoever quits first loses. The winner, as in the case of Nicos's brother, is too often too dead to appreciate victory. After consulting with a policeman friend, Nicos joins the gang of bikers but first has to prove himself in order to gain the confidence of its members. In the process of doing that, he meets an attractive woman and also comes up against the man responsible for his brother's death.
