Greek filmmaker Yiorgos Tsakiris wrote, directed, and photographed this trifle trading on the well-known Aliki series, but without the presence of its famous star, Aliki Vouyouklaki. In her place is Anna Iassonidou as the young Aliki, who loses her parents at an early age and is placed in the home of a wealthy couple by her struggling grandfather (Lavrentis Dianellos, who was in the last real Aliki film, 1972's I Aliki Dikhtator). Years pass and Aliki falls for a medical student (Thanassis Mylonas), who is waiting tables at the same nightclub where Aliki's grandfather sells cigarettes. Despite their class differences, Grandpa gets the young couple together and they all live happily ever after.
