Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
The old house acquired by Bjorg (Lilja Thorisdottir) and her husband Petur (Johann Sigurdarson) slowly takes on menacing proportions once Bjorg is left alone for a few days while Petur is away on business. While she is in the house, she experiences terrible visions of faces screaming -- are these ghosts, or unclear memories from her own past? The situation continues to deteriorate, until it looks as though Petur will never return in time to help Bjorg out of her terrors -- if he could help at all. The high level of cinematic craft in this film is testified by its engrossing drama, all accomplished on a budget of U.S. $270,000.
