Eccentric British magician Les Bubb was the star of this 15-minute children's comedy series. Staged in the manner of an old-fashioned silent comedy, Hubbub found the leading character bumbling from one surreal adventure to another. It may sound like Jacques Tati, but played more like Mr. Bean (albeit not quite so outrageously). Originally telecast by BBC1 from 1997 to 2000, Hubbub did its thing for a full 52 episodes.
