Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Produced for cable's Sundance Channel, the half-hour House of Boateng was admittedly created to expand the fame and popularity of trendy British fashion designer Ozwald Boateng. Each of the series' eight episodes profiled a different aspect of Boateng's high-end Saville Row clothing line, "Bespoke Couture," which had made him legendary in Europe but had not yet quite penetrated the American market. In various episodes, the viewer was whisked backstage to watch Boateng anxiously prepare for a major fashion show, or was given a sneak peak at a new design from start to finish, or was treated to in-depth interviews with Boateng's models and co-workers. House of Boateng debuted on June 22, 2006.
