Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx
Adapted from N. Scott Momaday's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name, House Made of Dawn tells the story of Abel, a young Native American who returns home from a foreign war and is caught between two worlds. One is the world of his father, where humans live in harmony with nature. The other is that of industrial America, where Abel is encouraged to live a dissolute life of disgust.
